I'll get some more photos up when I have a good place to hang it.
It wasn't necessarily hard, but tedious. If I cut the glass more precisely, it wouldn't have such thick lines of solder, but it's alright, I like it all the same. it's a little over a foot long and was really fun to make.
Tin is pretty soft. Well I guess it holds when you combine it with the rigidity of glass plates. But it damages quite easily because of it's softness. I think.
it was a mix of something else too. It had a really low melting point, since the soldering iron only went to about 400 degrees. Also lead free, from what I remember.
